But only because I have the pleasure of knowing this man in real life Dan is an absolute rock for so many people within our faith community. To see someone so humble and so kind put pen to paper and create these amazing works in partnership with God is just something I could have never knew I wanted but as soon as I read it I couldn’t put it down. Thank you so much for the amazing work you do with the lord you are better for it we are better for it and god sees it as such privilege to know you

I was given this book at what I believe is “for such a time as this” in my own spiritual journey. All the themes written are what God is speaking to me about right now – The Father Heart of God, spiritual warfare, the beauty of Jesus and the glory of God; the unseen spiritual realm, fruitfulness with rest, guarding our heart. Maybe supremely, encouraging me as I grow into becoming the Warrior of Light and Love that God made me to be. It’s like a letter from God.

The ‘Heavenly Warrior’ contains many prayers and is Biblically based. My favourite poem is ‘Call Upon the Saviour’. Following Christ we go through many battles but as this poem reminds us, ‘when defeat seems certain, then suddenly I will see victory’. This is a book of triumph; of Light over darkness, of Life over death and of true HOPE over despair.

‘The Heavenly warrior’ is such a thoughtfully written piece of work. It shows the importance of perseverance, and how beautiful life can be when you trust up upon God, and let go of the past. I enjoyed these poems for their wisdom and advice, and it was nice to have the verses in each chapter to relate each poem to!

These poems are such a beautiful reflection of God’s love for his children! I found them to be an encouragement in seeking closeness to the Father. It’s great that scripture accompanies each poem to underline the truth of the poetry as well. Thank you Daniel!
