Rich in inspiration and emotion, and deeply rooted in Scripture, this book is a beautiful testimony to God’s enduring love and faithfulness in Daniel’s life and His world as a whole: poems like “Light in the Darkness” show us His presence in the valley of the shadow of death; while “The Love of the Lamb” brings us to the joy of the ressurection morning.

Reccomended to all who are weary and heavy-laden: as this book reveals, He will give you rest.

I was given this book at what I believe is “for such a time as this” in my own spiritual journey. All the themes written are what God is speaking to me about right now – The Father Heart of God, spiritual warfare, the beauty of Jesus and the glory of God; the unseen spiritual realm, fruitfulness with rest, guarding our heart. Maybe supremely, encouraging me as I grow into becoming the Warrior of Light and Love that God made me to be. It’s like a letter from God.
