1. Books Are Printed to Order

Every “Through Fire and Flood” book (excluding eBooks) sold on danielwhitesman.com is produced using print-on-demand. This means your book is individually printed and bound only after you place your order. Because each copy is made specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind.

For this reason, please check your order carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Books

We want you to be happy with your order. If your book arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will gladly arrange a replacement copy at no extra cost to you.

This covers issues such as:

• Printing defects (for example, missing or blank pages, smudged or misaligned print);
• Damage that occurred during manufacturing or shipping;
• Receiving the wrong book or an incorrectly bound copy.

Our standard remedy for these issues is a free replacement, as this is the quickest way to get a correct copy into your hands.

3. How to Request a Replacement

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 30 days of your order being dispatched using the customer service form on our contact page.

To help us resolve your request quickly, please include:

• Clear photographs showing the defect or damage.

In most cases you will not need to post the faulty book back to us — a photograph is usually enough for us to arrange a replacement. We will let you know if anything further is needed.

4. What Is Not Covered

As “Through Fire & Flood” books are printed to order, the following are not eligible for a replacement or refund:

• Change of mind or accidental orders;
• Concerns about the written content, wording, spelling, or design of the book, where the book has been printed correctly as published;
• Orders reported more than 30 days after dispatch.

5. Refunds

Our preferred and standard solution for a faulty, damaged, or incorrect book is a free replacement. However, where a replacement is not possible or appropriate, or where you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer law, we will provide one.

6. Your Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a book is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as provided by law. Nothing in this policy limits or removes those rights.
